This package includes 4 nights in a Private Game Lodge in the world famous Greater Kruger National Park.

Kruger National Park is one of the world's most famed protected areas, known for its size, history of conversation, diversity of wildlife and ease of access. It's a place where the drama of life and death is played out on a daily basis. Your Private Game Lodge runs adjacent to Kruger National Park and with no fences, animals move freely between the two.

The stay at your private lodge includes all meals and local beverages (beverages only for Deluxe option) as well as open vehicle game drives and safari walks in the private game reserve. This is one of the big advantages of staying in a private lodge as open vehicle game drives are in 4x4 vehicles and are able to go offroad in search of wildlife providing a superior viewing experience. Game Vehicles within Kruger National Park must remain on the designated roads.

Itinerary

Day 1
On arrival at either Hoedspruit airport (for Motswari Private Game Reserve) or Nelspruit airport (for Londolozi) you will be met and transferred to your lodge. Late afternoon you will taken on your first open vehicle game drive with your experienced guide before returning to your lodge for a sumptuous bush boma dinner under the African stars.

Day 2 - 4
Your days can be as adventurous or as relaxing as you wish as you have the option of early morning, late afternoon and night game drives as well as daily bush walks with experienced guides through the park. You can also relax and wile away your time in the comforts of your lodge with its reading room, safari deck, bar, restaurant and swimming pool. A perfect opportunity to have the ideal "Out of Africa' experience.

Day 5 
This morning you will embark on your final game drive in the park before checking out of your lodge and being transferred to the airport your flight to Johannesburg.

Motswari Private Game Reserve

Londolozi - Varty Camp
Londolozi is located in the Sabi Sand Reserve, adjacent to Kruger National Park, South Africa's biggest and best game reserve. There are no fences between the Kruger and the Sabi Sand, allowing animals to roam freely and retrace their natural migration patterns.

The foundations of the Londolozi dream were shaped over eighty years ago when two friends - the great grand fathers of the Varty and Taylor clans stood before mighty Sand River for the first time ever. The vision and potential that these two men saw in the virgin bush has endured over the years with those same granite rocks of the River.

For two generations the family hosted presidents and princesses and sacrificed its wild beasts at the mercy of the hunter's gun. This came to an end thirty-five years ago in John, Dave and Shan Varty's care. Together the family shared a dream to build a world class destination and create the blueprint for modern day conservation in Southern Africa.

The campfire has burned here for over 84 years making Varty Camp the symbolic heart and soul of Londolozi. The décor echoes tones of the owners' private homes and their continuing love affair with the earth. All rooms have private swimming pools framed by timber decks that overlook the riverine bush. The living spaces are raised off the ground and shaded under a cathedral of trees. The camp has a pleasingly down-to-earth quality and the emphasis on family heritage means that children always have a place at Varty Camp. This is also the location of the boutique, cardio vascular exercise room, original Sparta Camp and massage treatment room.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is highly recommended for the Kruger Private Game Lodge to cover for irrecoverable prepaid travel costs incurred as a result of unforeseen circumstances. For example, if the passenger becomes unexpectedly ill and is unable to travel then the passenger will be able to recover the total costs of their Kruger Private Game Lodge package.

Please note every year Wild Africa Travel Company have passengers needing to cancel for many unforeseen reasons. Unfortunately Wild Africa Travel Company is helpless if the passenger has not taken out the appropriate travel insurance.

Travel Insurance is also very important for passengers on their travels as there can be situations where things may go wrong and travellers find themselves needing urgent medical assistance, help with replacing lost luggage, or assistance in making an urgent trip home. Travel insurance can provide coverage for these unforeseen circumstances and also provide peace of mind for the traveller.
