The Victoria Falls Tours package consists of 3 nights in the historic town of Livingstone, named after Dr David Livingstone who first saw Victoria Falls in 1855 and named it so after the queen of England.

Victoria Falls is located on the mighty Zambezi River the falls are 1.7km wide and 108 metres high and has an annual average flow of one million litres per second.

Itinerary

Day 1
On arrival at Livingstone airport you will be met by your Wild Africa Travel Company representative and transferred to your Livingstone hotel for your 3 night stay. Both hotels are literally on the doorstep of the falls and with unlimited access you have the chance to spend a great deal of time witnessing its power.

Day 2
This morning you can spend time witnessing the power and wonder of Victoria Falls or partake in the vast array of activities in this region. In the late afternoon you will be taken on a sunset cruise of the Zambezi River onboard the African Queen where drinks and snacks are included.

Day 3
This morning you have another opportunity to visit the falls before you embark on the Mukuni Village Cultural tour. You will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the village, which is home to the Leya people. This is an opportunity to see how the local people live in a working village, not one built for tourists. A member of the village will show you around and you will see how traditional huts are built and decorated, meet the residents and see the locals at work.
You will then be taken on a guided tour of the David Livingstone Museum which is divided into five sections covering archaeology, history, ethnography, natural history and art.

Day 4
Your final opportunity to see the falls before checking out of your hotel and being transferred to Livingstone airport for your flight to Johannesburg.

Travel insurance is highly recommended on the Victoria Falls Tours & Accommodation to cover for irrecoverable prepaid travel costs incurred as a result of unforeseen circumstances. For example, if the passenger becomes unexpectedly ill and is unable to travel then the passenger will be able to recover the total costs of their Victoria Falls Tours & Accommodation package.
