• Visa entry of US$25 into Mozambique.
• 30 day single entry visa’s are not issued in Australia and must be purchased upon entry into Mozambique. The visa must be purchased with US$25 cash and your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of departure from Mozambique.
  

Itinerary

Day 1
Depart Vilankulos airport for the short flight to Bazaruto Island, the largest island of the Bazaruto Archipelago. On arrival you will be transferred to Pestana Bazaruto Lodge, your resort accommodation for the next 5 nights.

Day 2-5
Your days on the island can be as active or relaxing as you like. There are daily transfers to both Dolphin Bay, one of the most beautiful and exotic beaches to swim and relax, and Coral Gardens, with its brilliant snorkeling conditions. There are also various other daily excursions you can take throughout the island and Archipelago and some fantastic nature options. Land Rover trips are very popular such as the romantic drive up to Sand Spit where you can enjoy a bottle of wine watching a spectacular sunset. Other options are Sail Fish Bay which has great views and enormous sand dunes, Croc Lakes which are inland salt water lakes containing crocodiles and bird watching expeditions throughout the island.

Day 6
This morning you will check out of your hotel and be transferred to the island airstrip for your short flight to Vilankulos and connecting flight to your next destination.

Accommodations

Pestana Bazaruto Lodge

Pestana Bazaruto Lodge consists of 40 A Frame thatched bungalows set amongst tropical gardens with magnificent views. Each bungalow has air conditioning and ceiling fan and private bathroom with enclosed outdoor shower.

The lodge has one main restaurant and every evening African drums announce dinner. All meals are included in the package and fro lunch a light meal can be served by the pool or a picnic prepared for the beach. The restaurant offers and exotic buffet or a la carte menu.

A bar is located next to the swimming pool and the lodge also has a games and TV room, local crafts shop, internet facilities and laundry service.

The resort offers complimentary non motorized water sports (wind surfing, canoeing & paddling) and the use of scuba diving and snorkeling equipment. Other activities include water skiing, cobra-cat, sailing trips, fishing, walking trials/tours, sand boarding, jeep tours throughout the island and sunset cruises.

Other Recommendations

This package is ideal as a nice finish to your travels through Africa as you can relax in this pristine wonderland. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is highly recommended for the 'Bazaruto Archipelago - Mozambique Accommodation' to cover for irrecoverable prepaid travel costs incurred as a result of unforeseen circumstances. For example, if the passenger becomes unexpectedly ill and is unable to travel then the passenger will be able to recover the total costs of their  'Bazaruto Archipelago - Mozambique Accommodation' package.

Please note every year Wild Africa Travel Company have passengers needing to cancel for many unforeseen reasons. Unfortunately Wild Africa Travel Company is helpless if the passenger has not taken out the appropriate travel insurance.
