Wild Africa Travel Company

African Wildlife Safaris

Wild Africa Travel Company has a wide range of safari options throughout Southern Africa. As Earnest Hemingway famously remarked "I never knew of a morning in Africa when I woke that I was not happy" and a safari experience through one of the many diverse parks will leave you feeling the same way.

We have packages & tours through the very best game parks and reserves Africa has to offer including:

  • The most famous park of all Kruger National Park where you can stay at a luxurious private lodge in a private game reserve on the edge of the National Park. As there are no fences between Kruger and the private game parks the animals are free to roam between the two. A private lodge experience is one to savour as you spend time tracking game & interacting with your own personalized park rangers and enjoy the service of your all inclusive lodge. It is a true “Out of Africa” experience.

Our other option in Kruger National Park is a lodge or comfortable hotel located on the perimeter of the park from where you will taken into the park itself to view the game with a park ranger in an open 4x4 landrover.

  • Pilanesberg National Park, which is a very picturesque park, located a convenient 2 hours drive from Johannesburg is home to a large variety of animals including the big 5. There are a number of very good private lodges within the park where you can relax and enjoy the lovely surrounds. Click Here to find out more.

  • Hluhluwe-Imfolozi National Park, located north of Durban in Zulu country, another wonderful park housing the big 5. As well as experiencing the diverse wildlife of this park, you can also experience the culture and history of the people of the Zulu Kingdom. Safari Tour Package Information.

  • Private game parks in the Eastern Cape Game Reserve, conveniently located a short distance from the coastal city of Port Elizabeth. It is an excellent destination after experiencing Cape Town and the wondrous drive along the coast to Port Elizabeth called the Garden Route. Click here to find out more.

  • The natural phenomena that is the Okavango Delta, where the 1430km Okavango River rises in central Angola, then flows south east through Namibia and into Botswana. Here 18.5million cubic metres of water annually spreads like an open hand across the flat landscape, eventually losing itself in 16,000 sq km maze of lagoons, channels and islands. The small intimate lodges of the delta provide a luxurious haven to explore the diverse wildlife of this region.

  • Chobe National Park in Botswana, one of the premier game parks in Africa and home to the biggest concentration of elephants in Africa.

  • The unique landscape of the Kalahari Desert in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Desert is a misnomer as most of the Kalahari (or Kgalagadi, which is its Setswana name) is covered with vegetation including stunted thorn and scrub bush, trees and grasslands. From your deluxe lodge you will have the chance to explore this remote area with day and night game drives as well as walking and tracking safaris with local Bushmen.

  • The less commercialised game parks of Zambia which has some of the very best wildlife in southern Africa. We have some fantastic packages to South Luangwa National Park, Lower Zambezi National Park and Kafue National Park.

  • Safari tours through Namibia, a photographers dream with wild seascapes, rugged mountains, lonely deserts, stunning wildlife and colonial cities. Our packages include many of the country’s main attractions such as: the flaming red sand dunes of Sossusvlei; one of the premier game viewing national parks in Africa in Etosha National Park; the coastal adventure city of Swakopmund; Fish River Canyon, one of the world’s largest canyons; and the desolate but beautiful Skeleton Coast.
