Cape Town Tours 

This package includes 4 nights in one the cities of the world, Cape Town including guided tours of the city, the dominating Table Mountain, the famous wine producing area of Stellenbosch & the infamous Robben Island.

Cape Town is one of the truly beautiful cities of the world and is a must see for any traveller to southern Africa. The city is dominated by the rugged and iconic Table Mountain around which the city has developed and with its stunning coastline, world famous vineyards and multiethnic and cosmopolitan population is a city to experience. A visit to Cape Town must also include a ferry ride and tour through the infamous prison on Robben Island where Nelson Mandela spent more than 2 decades incarcerated. A former political prisoner will conduct your tour giving you an insight into their struggle and the conditions they endured.

Package Details

• 4 nights accommodation in either 3 star Protea Hotel Fire & Ice (Standard) or 4 star Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel (Superior) Cape Town with daily buffet breakfast
• ½ day guided Table Mountain and Cape Town city tour
• ½ day guided winelands tour to Stellenbosch including wine tasting
• Return ferry to Robben Island and guided tour through the Robben Island Museum
• Meet and greet at Cape Town airport by Wild Africa Travel Company representative
• Return transfers from Cape Town airport to your Cape Town hotel

Itinerary 

Day 1
On arrival at Cape Town airport you will be met by your Wild Africa Travel Company representative and transferred to your Cape Town hotel where you will check into your hotel room for your 4 night stay.

Day 2
This morning you will be collected from your hotel and taken on a half day guided tour of Table Mountain and Cape Town. If you take the cable car to the top of the mountain you will have a breathtaking view of the city and its surrounding coastline. Your tour will then take you to the Malay Quarter, city centre, company gardens, Castle of Good Hope and the Diamond works. At the end of your tour you will be dropped back to your hotel.

Day 3
This morning you will make your way to the V&A Waterfront for your ferry ride to Robben Island. On arrival at Robben Island you will be taken on a 45 minute guided coach tour of the island before entering the former maximum security prison for a tour with an ex political prisoner. On completion of this tour you will board your return ferry back to Cape Town.

Day 4
This morning is a chance to relax by the hotel or further explore the city of Cape Town. After lunch you will be collected and taken on a guided tour of the winelands region of the Western Cape including a walking tour of the stately colonial town of Stellenbosch. At the end of your tour you will be dropped back to your hotel.

Day 5
This morning you will be collected from your hotel after breakfast and transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to your next destination.

Cape Town Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is highly recommended when travelling to Cape Town to cover for irrecoverable prepaid travel costs incurred as a result of unforeseen circumstances. For example, if the passenger becomes unexpectedly ill and is unable to travel then the passenger will be able to recover the total costs of their Cape Town package.

Please note every year Wild Africa Travel Company have passengers needing to cancel for many unforeseen reasons. Unfortunately Wild Africa Travel Company is helpless if the passenger has not taken out the appropriate travel insurance.

Travel Insurance is also very important for passengers on their travels as there can be situations where things may go wrong and travellers find themselves needing urgent medical assistance, help with replacing lost luggage, or assistance in making an urgent trip home.
