Located on 36,000 acres of pristine African bushveld in the heart of the Blue Canyon Conservancy, Moditlo River Lodge offers a luxurious accommodation and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Meaning ‘place of the elephant’ Moditlo offers an abundance of wildlife within the private game reserve. Situated at the foot of the Drakensberg mountain range and close to Kruger National Park the team at Moditlo River Lodge are dedicated to making this the trip of a lifetime.

Kruger National Park is one of the world’s most famed protected areas, known for its size, history of conversation, diversity of wildlife and ease of access. It’s a place where the drama of life and death is played out on a daily basis.

South Africa’s first national park is a great place to view the Big 5 with healthy populations of lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo. In fact Kruger has more species of large mammals than any other park in Africa as well as over 500 species of birds found, making it the ideal safari location.
