Located within the Timbavati and Umbabat Private Nature Reserve, the luxurious Motswari Private Game Reserve has been family owned and operated for over forty years.
Accommodating for a maximum of 30 guests at any one time, Motswari Private Game Reserve remains exclusive. Stretched out over 150 square kilometers, guests have a good opportunity to view a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five as they bask in their natural environment.

Accommodation
Guests stay in one of fifteen en-suite bungalows making up the main camp. Each room is decorated in a traditional style alluding to the surrounding bushveld while maintaining a luxurious feel. Guests are accompanied by Rangers between building, offering peace of mind and insight into their surroundings.

Game Drives
Enjoy outstanding game viewing with an experienced guide and tracker on board one of our open Land Rovers during the morning and evening game drives. Private guide and vehicles can also be arranged at an additional cost.
Safari Walks
Discover the finest of natures details while on the reserve’s special guided safari walks, which can be arranged on requests after the morning game drive. This experience is led by a professional guide and provides guests the opportunity to view small flora and fauna from a unique perspective.
Safari Interest Talks
Guests can enjoy interactive talks over high tea on a range of topics relating to the reserve. Hosted by one of the experienced game rangers in a relaxed setting, guests can pose questions and learn more about the extensive environment in which then find themselves.
Giraffe’s Nest Hide
Just a short drive from Main Camp, guests have the opportunity to sleep under the stars in the luxury tree house sleep out. Overlooking the Xanatsi dam, enjoy the privacy of this location as you take in the activity of the waterhole. Drinks and a delicious dinner is provided.
Mobile Spa
Guests have the luxury of requesting a selection on in-room spa treatments. Inspired by Swedish and Indian techniques and infused with an African touch. Relaxation after a day of safari awaits.
